Community Support Program

The Federal Home Loan Bank Act and the regulations of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) require FHLBank members to meet certain standards of community investment or service to maintain continued access to FHLBank Atlanta's long-term advances and new participation in the Bank's Affordable Housing Program or other Community Investment Cash Advances programs. The FHFA reviews the community support record of each FHLBank member every two years.


2019 Community Support Review
Members subject to the 2019 Community Support Review can begin submitting statements to the FHFA on April 1, 2019. Statements are due to the FHFA by October 31, 2019.

The Bank will notify members of the FHFA’s determination regarding their Community Support Statement.


Public Comments
The FHFA accepts public comments on the community support performance of the members being reviewed. Comments should be submitted to the FHFA via email to hmgcommunitysupportprogram@fhfa.gov by April 29, 2019.
