2017 Community Support Review

The Federal Home Loan Bank Act and the regulations of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) require FHLBank members to meet certain standards of community investment or service to maintain access to long-term advances from the FHLBanks. The FHFA reviews the community support record of each FHLBank member every two years.

The 2017 Community Support Review process is currently underway. The FHFA accepts public comments on the community support performance of the members being reviewed. Comments should be submitted to the FHFA via email to hmgcommunitysupportprogram@fhfa.gov or via fax to 202.649.4308 on or before March 31, 2017.
