ATLANTA, July 3, 2013 - Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) announced today that it has appointed one new member to its Affordable Housing Advisory Council. Christopher Kukla was selected to serve as one of two council members from North Carolina. FHLBank Atlanta’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council has a total of 15 members.
Christopher Kukla is senior vice president at the Center for Responsible Lending (CRL) in Durham, North Carolina, a nonpartisan, nonprofit policy and research affiliate of Self-Help Community Development Corporation. Mr. Kukla is responsible for directing CRL’s work in the North Carolina General Assembly. Prior to joining the CRL, Mr. Kukla worked for five years on Capitol Hill, most recently as Appropriations Associate and Counsel to U.S. Representative Nita M. Lowey of New York.
